Biotin Daily Dosage Recommendation
The Food and Nutrition Board of United States National Research Council has set the recommended the daily dosage of biotin at 30 micrograms for adults above the age of 19 and 5-12 micrograms for children and infants.
Biotin Side Effects
Although biotin is safe to consume, even if the dosage is high, it is advisable to check with your health care practitioner if you have any medical conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Biotin might weaken the effect of some cholesterol medicines.
