What is Vitamin B5?

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) is needed for energy production and creation of the neurotransmitter acetycholine. It is also needed for synthesis of cholesterol and to release energy from fat. Pantothenic acid is also needed to activate the adrenal glands.

Some research suggests that patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis may be deficient in Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). Supplementation with 2000 mg can help ease morning stiffness and pain.
